Topki

Topki (Russian: Топки) is a town in Kemerovo Oblast, Russia, located 38 km west of Kemerovo. Population: 31,004 (2002 Census); 33,574 (1989 Census).
It was founded in 1914 due to the construction of the Trans-Siberian Railway. The railway station of Topki was opened in 1916. The settlement was granted town status in 1933.
