Talk:Torrey Pines High School
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fpo why did you delete that whole section?
I didn't delete it (I wrote it), but I believe Salka's parents withdrew the lawsuit.
my mistake, if you know how to revert go ahead
i'm quite sure they didn't withdraw the lawsuit. what section was deleted?
Davemcarlson 09:30, 10 March 2006 (UTC) They didn't technically withdraw the lawsuit last I checked, but changed the charges, asking only for lawyer fees plus one dollar.
I edited the page by including "basketball" under the list of strong TP sports teams. Why? Because the basketball team has had a record of dominance, including winning the division 1 CIF Championships in 2001. Go Falcons! 09 (special) in the house!
I added "baseball" to strong sports teams because they are nationally ranked this year (2006).

- John Allred: verified here
- Hayden Epstein: verified here.

On this alumni note, Shaun White did not go to Torrey Pines, he went to Carlsbad HS and dropped out to pursue snowboarding. I deleted his name.
[edit] Major revision
I have done a total revision of the site, which consisted of mostly deleting duplicate and biased information. I also fixed up the infobox so it would be standard. I think the new layout will be more organized and easier to read. The sections are stubs, so we need to add more information to the sections. Please add citations to facts that get added. Also, Wikipedia is supposed to portray a neutral point of view, so please don't add objective statements saying how great the school is. Thanks! CompotatoJ 03:57, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
