Torngat Mountains National Park Reserve is an announced national park located on the Labrador Peninsula of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
The park aims to protect wildlife (caribou, polar bears, peregrine falcon and golden eagle among others), while offering wilderness-oriented recreational activities (hiking, scrambling, kayaking).
The park extends over an area of 9,600 km², from the northern tip of Labrador to Saglek Fjord.
This is the first national park reserve to be established in Labrador. It is expected that full national park status will be achieved once the territorial claims of the Nunavik Inuit of northern Quebec are resolved.
