Talk:Travia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
All the information I gave came directly from the game's main site. I don't see the problem. LizardPariah
- There is nothing in the article that demonstates why this game is notable. Please look at {{WP:WEB]] for more information. By "directly" from the game's main site, do you mean it is copied from the site? That would be a violation of Wikipedia guidelines. janejellyroll 03:20, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
It's not copied, but rather rephrased. I didn't copy or paste anything. User:LizardPariah
The main site is credible. After all it IS the game company's site. User:LizardPariah
- Again, the issues isn't credibility, it is notability. This article lacks information how this game is notable. janejellyroll 04:03, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
Sorry my second responce is for the credibility warning. I'm going to delete the warning. User:LizardPariah
- Please don't delete it. It is pointing out that this article lacks third-party sources--any references beyond the game's website. janejellyroll 04:16, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
Will these count as a third-party source? MMOsite Travia Review, IGN Travia Review
- These are mentions of the site, but they don't establish notability in any way. janejellyroll 04:28, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
IGN is a third party source. The IGN Vault did extensive coverage on Travia, I dont see the notability problem. Both IGN and MMOsite are CREDIBLE third party sources and give extensive coverage on it. There's even a Game&Game Travia Tour (Game&Game Travia Tour). All three should prove notability. 65.174.252.12
Ok I fixed the references and added the Game&Game Tour, IGN and MMOsite to the links. Let me know if there's anything that still needs to be fixed User:LizardPariah
- This article is in sore need of sources documenting that it is notable in any way. Please look at WP:N for more information and WP:WEB for specific internet information. janejellyroll 05:54, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
