Trance Europe Express is a compilation album of European trance artists which was compiled by the publishers of Volume magazine in 1993.
The Trance Europe Express series consisted of 5 compilations of various trance artists. Volume also crossed the pond with the Trance Atlantic series, which showcased trance artists from the United States. Similarly to issues of Volume magazine, Trance Europe Express came packaged with a 192-page booklet, featuring interviews and short bios of each of the bands included on the 2 CDs.
The name of the series is most likely an homage to seminal electronic band Kraftwerk's album Trans-Europe Express.
