This page gives a detailed example of the translation process according to Wikipedia:Translation

The system is intended to be easy for the contributor. You will get only one detailed page to update as your work progresses. It will follow the article at every step of the translation, keeping track of all the information on it when used as a template ( {{Project:Translation/(Name of article here)}} )
The corresponding translation page must first be created by typing below after the slash ('/') the name of the article in English
For example, we enter Laura Pausini and press 'Request a translation'

Explanation :
- The person who chooses to translate the article should then modify its status like this and move the banner from the requests page to the page for translations in progress of this month.
- The translator should also add the "Permanent link" parameter, enabling him/her to have easy access to the permanent version of the article in its original language.
