2006, a cyclist in the Tri-State Trek, a 270 mile, 3-day bike ride from Boston to New York, the Trek is about overcoming challenges and obstacles once thought not possible. It is about inspiring yourself and inspiring others. It is about pushing beyond your comfort zones physically, mentally and emotionally to raise money and awareness for ALS and the ALS TDF. [1]
2007, a cyclist in the Habitat Bike Challenge where 90 college students will cimb on their bikes to ride coast-to-coast in support of Habitat for Humanity. The thirteenth annual Habitat Bicycle Challenge (HBC) will generate approximately $430,000 in proceeds, enough to underwrite the construction of eight Habitat homes. HBC riders will also raise awareness of Habitat's work throughout the country as they pedal to end poverty housing. [2]
