Talk:Trio (band)

Wasn't "Da da da" featured in an American commercial many, many years ago (mid-90s or thereabouts)? I seem to remember me and my friend making jest of the simple lyrics. --65.35.33.47 16:29, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, a Volkswagen commerical in 1997. - furrykef (Talk at me) 07:47, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Casio VL-1 / "chords"
- and live shows often saw Remmler playing some simple preprogrammed chords on his small Casio VL-1 keyboard
The problem with this sentence is that the VL-1 was monophonic (trying to play a chord will result in a single note). Either he wasn't using a Casio VL-1 when he played chords, or he only played its rhythms and/or melodies... - furrykef (Talk at me) 15:43, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
A Greek music artist, Christos Dantis, has covered the song 'Da Da Da'.
[edit] Is the IMDb wrong?
Because it has Peter Behrens listed as being born in San Antonio, Texas [1] (yes, you read right), with the same date of birth listed in this article. According to what I've found out about Behrens's father (i.e. he was an American G.I.), it would make sense that he'd be born there but raised in Germany.
Other places that have Behrens born in S.A.: [link to copyvio website removed], [link to copyvio website removed], and this French site. I've found other places with a birth place in S.A. but with the birthdate off by a year. But the biggie is obv the IMDb. Is that wrong? (Krushsister 06:01, 16 October 2006 (UTC))
- I too had read that he was born in San Antonio, and I'm more inclined to believe that information. I simply deleted the birthdates and locations, since they're not really relevant anyway - furrykef (Talk at me) 07:15, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

- Hmm, I just checked stephan-remmler.de and it has Sanderbusch[2]. According to web.archive.org, That source did originally say San Antonio[3]. Now I don't know, since that was one of the sources I trusted (to some degree, not 100% of course). But still, it doesn't really matter... - furrykef (Talk at me) 07:19, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

- Yep, the IMDb is definetly wrong. Peter was born in Sanderbusch. He is a son of a GI and he raised up to his 5th birthday in Texas. In some interviews he pretended to be born in Texas, but that's wrong. I saw his (German) passport two years ago when we met.
