Trotton with Chithurst

Trotton with Chithurst is a parish in West Sussex. It has two churches: St George's in Trotton and St Mary's in Chithurst. Both of these are Anglican although St George's is used by the British Orthodox Church on a monthly basis.
In the 2001 census the parish covered 768 hectares (1,897 acres) and had 129 households with a total population of 328. 160 residents were economically active.
The author Thomas Otway was born in Trotton in 1652.
Chithurst is the location of Cittaviveka Buddhist Monastery, a monastery in the Thai Forest Tradition of Theravada Buddhism.
