True Children

The True Children (in Unification Church parlance) are the 14 offspring of Father Moon and Mother Moon: 7 boys and 7 girls. The first child born was a girl (Ye Jin Moon), followed by the first son Hyo Jin Moon.
Although church sources most often refer to 13 children, that is because the second daughter (Hye Jin Moon) only lived 8 days. In December 1983, teenage son Heung Jin Moon was hit by a jacknifed truck and died on January 2, 1984. Another son died in Las Vegas in an apparent accident.
