Tule Lake

Tule Lake is an intermittent lake covering an area of 13,000 acres (20.3 mi², 52.6 km²) in northeastern Siskiyou County, California, along the border with Oregon. It is fed by the Lost River.
The lake is located just southwest of the town of Tulelake and is part of the Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge and the Klamath Project. The Tule Lake War Relocation Center, a Japanese American internment camp, is located to the east in neighboring Modoc County.
