Picture of a Garrett GT30 turbocharger with T31 .82 turbine, Tial 44mm external wastegate, installed in a 2004 Subaru WRX STI. Picture taken from under the car looking up and forward during install of turbo kit.
Front right axle is also visible at bottom. Transmission to the left. Cylinder head behind the uppipe (dark grey, wrapped with heat retention wrap). Intercooler piping top left (also wrapped but light brown in color). Power steering lines to far right, partially covered in silver heat rejection sleaves. Image is before the exhaust had been fitted. A short dump tube is attached to the wastegate. This dump tube fits into a slip fitting in the downpipe and exhaust.
