What am I interested in? For starters, here's a tiny sampling:

• Phil Ochs, first and foremost
• The Beatles, especially Lennon, but ok, Macca too; BeeGees (all of 'em); Cat Stevens, Moody Blues, the Eagles, Carly Simon, and many others — even some who are under age 50
• Marshall McLuhan (one of the most brilliant people I've ever known) - and other famous people I know (and no, I'm not going to give you their email addresses)
• the Amish
• the Bronx and a variety of denizens of it, especially
  • Science and its alumni and
  • the Yankees
• the Cape and London
• lights of the 60s like Murray the K and other cultural and political figures and events of the day, plus a few from today
• tv shows and movies from all eras, like Rome, ST:TNG and Witness to name just a few
• online services that I frequented in the 80s and 90s, for old-times sake

I also enjoy creating articles for miscellaneous subjects that I had no particular prior interest in, or knowledge of, like Col Joye and Harrison J. Goldin - and editing others - for the pure fun of research, expansion and refining of Wikipedia. And I do my share of random vandal-reverting, because people who destroy other people's work really piss me off.

This user loathes, but is forced to observe, Daylight Saving Time.

This has led to some marital discord, but he's wrong, of course.
