Twin Islands, BC

Twin Islands (sometimes referred to as the Ulloa Islands) are two small islands off the eastern coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada and is part of the Discovery Islands.
Margrav Maximillian Von Baden of Baden Baden, Germany purchased Twin Islands in the late 1950's as a summer retreat for his family.
August 13, 1994 Queen Elizabeth II spends a few days on a private retreat at Twin Island while Prince Philip visits Yellowknife, Iqaluit and Rankin Inlet, Nunavut.
There is a small an off-grid internet service provider, Twincomm Communications based on the Twin Islands.
