A number of complexes that consist of two tall structures, including:
- Czech
- RKS Liblice 2 at Liblice. Two 355 metre tall guyed masts for mediumwave broadcasting 60 metre away from each other.
- England
- Wembley Stadium in London, which had Twin Towers before being demolished in 2003.
- Germany
- Deutsche Bank Twin Towers in the famous banking district of Frankfurt.
- India
- The Imperial in Mumbai. Upon completion, will be the world's tallest twin residential tower.
- Malaysia
- Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, currently the tallest twin buildings in the world and it is the second tallest building in the world.
- Spain
- Hotel Arts and Torre Mapfre in Barcelona
- Sweden
- Soelvesborg Twin Towers in Sölvesborg, radio towers of the mediumwave transmitter of the foreign service of Radio Sweden.
- United States
- World Trade Center in New York City, destroyed in the September 11th, 2001 attacks.
- Time Warner Center also in New York City.
- Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles, California.

- A nickname that was given to the basketball players Tim Duncan and David Robinson of the San Antonio Spurs, due to their great height.
- A nickname that was given to the basketball players Hakeem Olajuwon and Ralph Sampson, who played together for the Houston Rockets in the 1980s.
- A wrestling tag team in the World Wrestling Federation in the late 1980s of the wrestlers Ray Traylor and George Gray.
- A nickname that was given to Robert Elliot and Darran smith the legendary Coolin Soccer Team defenders who never conceeded a goal while playing as a centre half patnership on the tough terrains of Vinncennes. Legend has it that the pair used to place opposition strikers in their pockets.
