[edit] 300 Soundtrack Controversy
300's soundtrack borrowed many elements from Elliot Goldenthal's 1999 soundtrack for Titus, which caused some controversy in the film composer community.[1] [2] [3] 300's "Remember Us" is identical in parts to the end of Titus's "Finale". Also similar is 300's "Returns A King" to Titus's "Victorius Titus".[4] "Message For The Queen", from the soundtrack of 300, is a traditional Macedonian Song called Zajdi Zajdi Jasno Sonce (Зајди зајди јасно сонце), completely ripped of and uncredited [5]. Other similarities have been found throughout the films' scores.
