Tyler Clippard

Tyler Clippard (born February 14, 1985 in Lexington, Kentucky) is a pitching prospect for the New York Yankees minor league team the Trenton Thunder.

Clippard was drafted in the 9th round of the 2003 MLB Draft by the New York Yankees.
From 2003-06, in the minor leagues he averaged 7.5 hits, 2 walks, and 10 strikeouts per 9 innings for Yankee farm teams.[1]
He is considered to be the Yankees third or fourth best pitching prospect behind Phillip Hughes, Humberto Sanchez, or Russ Ohlendorf.
