Tyler Perry's House of Payne is an American television sitcom, currently airing in first-run syndication, that stars Allen Payne from The Cosby Show. Created and produced by comedian and independent producer Tyler Perry, the show revolves a multi-generational family living under one roof in Atlanta.

The Roof Is on Fire |
Curtis and Ella Payne are preparing to celebrate their wedding anniversary. But the celebration is interrupted when Curtis and his son, C.J., who are both firefighters, are called away to a house fire. After they return, however, they bring with them the news that the house that was on fire belonged to C.J., his wife, Janine, and their two children, Malik and Jasmine. With no house to call a home, C.J. moves his family into the basement of Curtis and Ella’s house, a situation about which nobody is very happy. |

When the Smoke Clears |
The tension increases between C.J. and his wife, who is beginning to show signs of trouble beyond just losing her house. Prior to the house burning down, she had failed several times to pay household bills, and now she’s starting to shirk her duties as a mother. Meanwhile, after Curtis’ television set blows out while Malik is watching it, Malik offers to order an entire entertainment system online. But things might not be what they seem after the merchandise arrives. |

The sitcom ran in first-run syndication for 10 episodes during Spring 2006 as a limited run with additional episodes to be available for national distribution on TBS in June 2007.
The show will run re-syndicated on FOX for their Fall Season in September 2007.
