Typhoon Weapon System

The Typhoon is a type of close in weapon system manufactured by Rafael of Israel.
The first Typhoon, the Mk-23, was released in 1997.
The Typhooon
- is designed to integrate with an electro-optical director system
- has stabilization and
- has battery backup.
By 2006, more than 120 systems had been ordered.
