U.S. Highway 117 is a spur of U.S. Highway 17. It currently runs for 114 miles (183 km) from Wilson, North Carolina at Interstate 95 exit 119, where it is multiplexed with U.S. Highway 264, through Goldsboro, North Carolina to Wilmington, North Carolina at U.S. Highway 421. Its run is entirely within the state of North Carolina. Construction has been completed from Wilson, North Carolina through Goldsboro, North Carolina, expanding U.S. Highway 117 to four lanes.
