ULIS

ULIS is a Belarusian rock band, singing in Belarusian language. It has been created and made its first public performance in Minsk in March 1989.
Song "Radyjo Svaboda" (Radio Freedom), composed in 1990, became an anthem of radiostation RADIO FREE EUROPE RADIO LIBERTY.
ULIS has participated in concetrts & festivals Moscow, Minsk, Brest, Grodno, Novogrudok (Belarus),Kaliningrad (Russia), Chernovtsy (Ukraine), Sopot (Poland), Białystok ( Poland), Augsburg (Germany), London (Great Britain).
In the years of 1991-1993 ULIS was playing concerts in clubs & pubs in Augsburg (Germany). In autumn 1993 ULIS appeared in London, playing 6 gigs in local clubs.
ULIS played with such groups as: The Stranglers, Kaoma, Havana Black, Leningrad Cowboys, Echo and The Bunnymen, Intzer Ebb, Marillion, Mecca, Holy joy, Jethro Tull, etc
The group consists of: Slava Koran' - guitar, vocal, music, lyrics, the producer of the group. Pavel Yarmochanka - drums. Natallia Kunitskaya - keys. Viktar Samarukau - Bass - guitar.
