[edit] Sidebar
I am not sure how to adjust it, but the actual address of the building is 1 Cardinals Drive, Glendale, AZ 85305...even though it does not show up on most major map sites becuas NAVTEQ & TeleAtlas where the majority of map sites pull from only update every so often. Also, the true capacity is 63,400, but expandable to 73,000. I was not sure how to fix this on the info bar on the right of the page so if someone could that would be great. I will also post more photos.
Pat Tillman Stadium is what this stadium name should be
- I agree. Although the University of Phoenix does have a revelence to the area, it is NOT a real university, just an online one. BiggKwell 23:40, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sidebar
I removed "Closed" and "Demolished" from the sidebar. They didn't seem necessary considering it could be 30 years or more until they apply to this stadium.--Letsgomets1212 16:48, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Photograph
The photo of the stadium is out of date. It would be nice if someone with a more recent photo or (willing to take a one) could update it. --Cab88 23:49, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Stadium Roof Opening?
Does it take 15 minutes or 12 minutes?
The stadium roof can fully open or close in 12 minutes. Each roof panel moves 182'. When the panels are within 90' of the closed position (where the roof is flatter), they travel 25' per minute. When the panels are more than 90' from the closed position (where the roof is steeper) the maximum travel speed is 16' per minute. The roof panels slow to 4' per minute for the final 10' of travel.
When opening: (90'/25 = 3.6 minutes) + (82'/16 = 5.125 minutes) + (10'/4 = 2.5 minutes) = 11.225 minutes total travel time
When closing: (92'/16 = 5.75 minutes) + (80'/25 = 3.2 minutes) + (10'/2.5 = 2.5 minutes) = 11.45 minutes total travel time

[edit] The pet name
Some people calls this stadium by an alternative name as The Pink Taco Stadium because they feel that U of P is an irony because is at Glendale
[edit] More pictures needed
So, is this where the University Of Phoenix plays its football games? I kid. Seriously, there needs to be more pictures (preferably at least two) for this stadium, especially given its 'unique features'. There's no way to visualize any of that from just the side picture (which in and of itself doesn't even really look like a stadium). PolarisSLBM 21:17, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
- I pass by there on my way to GCC every day, I'll try and snap a couple better ones (in particular with the new name/logos). I also think that's where my sister's high school graduation is taking place, if so, I'll snap a few shots from inside (not 'til May on that one). Uagent 08:57, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
