United Macedonian Diaspora

United Macedonian Diaspora (Macedonian: Обединета Македонска Дијаспора, Latinic: Obedineta Makedonska Dijaspora) is an international membership organization founded in 2004 and based in Washington, D.C. addressing the interests and needs of Macedonian people and Macedonian communities throughout the world.
The United Macedonian Diaspora fosters the unity of the Macedonian people by ensuring the progress and advancement of the traditional Macedonian spiritual, historical, and socio-cultural heritage furthered by charitable, educational, public, and other community-minded endeavors.
The United Macedonian Diaspora is necessary to secure the civil rights and safety of Macedonian people and Macedonian communities around the world; Intensify the bonds of the Macedonian Diaspora and strengthen the ties of solidarity among Macedonian communities everywhere; Act in coordination with and on behalf of Macedonian communities before public, governmental, intergovernmental and other public international authorities on matters concerning the Macedonian people; and; Cooperate with all peoples on the basis of universal ideas of peace, freedom, liberty, equality, self-determination, and justice.
