United Nations Preventive Deployment Force

United Nations Preventive Deployment Force was established on 31 March 1995 to replace UNPROFOR in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. The mandate of UNPREDEP remained essentially the same: to monitor and report any developments in the border areas which could undermine confidence and stability in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and threaten its territory. The functions of the Force came to an end on 28 February 1999, when the Security Council, on 25 February 1999
