Talk:UNKLE
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
just wondering: unkle - the time has come - 1996
Yes, The Time has Come is the first and the greatest UNKLE album to date, many fans dont like the new commercial style. Yet others prefer the new style.
also there is no mentioning of [unklesound|unkle sounds] unkle_-_unklesounds_-_edit_music_for_a_film_-_2004 unkle_-_unklesounds_-_where_the_wild_things_are_-_2004 unkle_-_unklesounds_-_wwiii_unkle_vs_unkle_-_2cd_-_2004

[edit] band name origin
is this band's name a reference to The Man from U.N.C.L.E.? if so, maybe a mention of it would be suitable here? Pedant 19:34, 2004 Nov 6 (UTC)
[edit] Requesting a redirect
Unkle (with only an initial capital letter) should redirect to this article. I came in expecting that the article would only have an initial capital letter because of the general convention on Wikipedia, but I just got the "not found" page.
[edit] Intro needs a rewrite
- Could someone familiar with the topic please take a stab at rewriting the intro? You have to read to the third sentence before you find out that this article is about a music group. The style in general assumes too much knowledge of hip hop. This would be acceptable in a music magazine, but this is an encyclopedia. I would do it myself if I knew more about the group's sound and bio. Thanks to anyone willing to give it a go.--Hraefen Talk 17:22, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] New Remix
UNKLE have created a 'modern reworking' of Beethoven's 9th Symphony for the new UK BMW advert.
- Advert: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSl6KIZAsNI

However I don't know enough about the track to warrant myself adding it to the page.
