[edit] Purpose
Used to label unsigned comments in a discussion. As opposed to {{unsigned}}, it appends an explicit statement and link imploring readers to "Please sign your posts!". This template may be deprecated; the other unsigned templates now link to the same Wikipedia:Sign your posts on talk pages, though they do not have an explicit statement.
[edit] Usage
{{subst:unsigned3|username|date}}
- date
- datestamp
- username
- name or IP of user who left comment
[edit] Discussion
If you are familiar with this template, please provide a synopsis of its use. Just the syntax would be fine. Folajimi 19:05, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
There really shouldn't be a period after the exclamation point.--Atlantima 17:55, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Substitution
Whether this template should always be substituted or not is being discussed at Wikipedia talk:Template substitution#Unsigned and Unsigned2. Your comment is invited. —Simetrical (talk • contribs) 01:16, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
- You're right. *Checks*. whew, wasn't from my edit! But problem isn't too bad, I suppose. -Patstuart(talk)(contribs) 19:30, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
