Urmar

Urmar is a well known Pashtun tribe from the linage of Sarban from Qais Abdur Rashid the father of the Pashtuns. The Urmar tribe has settled in 3 locations, The Waziristan Mountains, Logar Valley and close to Peshawar. In the location close to Peshawar there are 3 villages Bala (or Bar Kalay meaning upper village), Urmar Miana (or Manz Kalay meaning middle village) and Urmar Payan (or Kooz or Khkata Kalay meaning lower village).
The people of Urmar are well know for living by the Pukhtunwali code. It is known about them that if they are your friend, they are very loyal and will sacrifice everything for their friendship. Yet at the same time, if they are your enemies, they are the worst of enemies that will sacrifice everything for revenge.
