US_Amateur_Callsign_Region_Numeral_Map.PNG (468 × 293 pixel, file size: 13 KB, MIME type: image/png)
Map of the United States showing the region numeral (or code) used in callsigns for amateur radio licensees in the defined regions.
Note: Region 10 uses numeral "0". Pacific islands use an "H" before the numeral, which indicates a region code distinct from the contiguous 48 states. The State of Hawaii (with minor exception) is in Pacific region 6, hence code "H6". A similar distinct set of regions is used for Alaska, with "L" numeral prefix; and the Caribbean and Atlantic territories, with "P" numeral prefix; these regions are not shown or delineated.
The information to colorize this map is from the FCC page on the Sequential Callsign System: [1]
