Us Weekly is a celebrity magazine that was founded in 1977 and was acquired by Wenner Media in 1986. The magazine covers celebrity news and the latest trends in fashion, pop culture, beauty and entertainment. Us Weekly is currently helmed by Editor-in Chief Janice Min and Publisher Victoria Lasdon Rose. As of 2007, it has a circulation of over 1.7 million. Us Weekly was named "Magazine of the Year" by Advertising Age in 2004 and was number three on Adweek's magazine Hot List 2007.
The magazine's Web site, Usmagazine.com, was launched in the Fall of 2006 and currently the site has approximately 2 million unique visitors per month. The site includes stories from the magazine; web-only features; a non-stop celebrity news blog; red carpet galleries from the premieres and events; a celebrity search engine; celebrity pictures updated several times daily; and, celebrity quizzes and polls.
Us Weekly has several signature issues including the Hot Hollywood special issues, in the Spring and the Fall, celebrating young hollywood; the Best Bodies issue; and the Best Makeovers issue.

Launched as a bi-monthly publication in 1977, Us Weekly was acquired by Wenner Media in 1986 and is a part of the Wenner Media LLC publishing company. The magazine moved from a monthly to a weekly format in March 2000. In February 2001, Wenner partnered with Disney. Wenner Media acquired The Walt Disney Company's 50% stake in August 2006, making the publication once again a fully owned and operated Wenner Media publication. In July 2003, Janice Min took over as editor-in-chief with Victoria Lasdon Rose as the publisher, and Michael Steele as executive editor of the magazine.
In 2004, in addition to the magazine being named Magazine of the Year by Ad Age, it was #1 on Ad Age's A List as well as Janice Min being named Editor of the Year in Ad Week. In 2005 Us was named one of the Top 10 Best Performers in Circulation by Capell's, #3 on Ad Week's Hot List Top 10 Magazines and #3 on Ad Age's A List. In 2006, Us was named #4 on Ad Week's Hot List Top 10 Magazines.
