[edit] Design
The design, designated UT 512L, is an enlarged design of the Norwegian Coast Guard ship NoCGV Harstad which is designated UT 512. The design was changed based on Icelandic criteria for a larger and faster ship. The ship will be constructed at the ASMAR Astilleros Reparadores shipyard in Chile. The ship is expected to be delivered in the middle of 2009 and is speculated to be named Þór.
