Utah County Academy of Sciences

Utah County Academy of Sciences (UCAS, pronounced you-kass) is a small, charter high school in association with UVSC (Utah Valley State College) in Orem, Utah. Students go to UCAS from many school districts in the surrounding area including Nebo School District, Alpine School District, and Provo School District.
This school is located on UVSC campus and classes are a mix of college classes and high school graduation requirements.

UCAS is a charter school created along with 6 others similar schools by former Governor of Utah Michael Leavitt.

The school does not have any formal sports, music, or driving education programs. It does however contain a functioning Student Government, Yearbook Staff, Debate Team, a Multicultural Association in addition to all associations affiliated with UVSC.
