Vaivasvata

In Hindu mythology, Vaivasvata (Sanskrit: वैवस्वत) (also Vaivasvate) is the father of one of the 14 Manus. His son Sraddhadeva Manu is considered the progenitor of the current Manvantara, which is the 7th of the 14 that make up the current Kalpa, each Kalpa making up a day of Brahma.
