Valerie Sherrard

Valerie Sherrard is the Canadian author behind young adult books Sarah's Legacy, Kate, Sam's Light and the Shelby Belgarden mystery series, all published by Boardwalk Books.
She was employed for ten years as the executive director of a group home for adolescents and a former foster parent of approximately 70 teenagers.
Valerie Sherrard has lived in different parts of Canada but settled with her husband, Brent,in Miramichi, New Brunswick where they have lived for the past 20 years.
