Valeriy Levental

Valery Yakovlevich Levental' (Russian: Валерий Яковлевич Левенталь; b. 17 August 1938 in Moscow) was a Russian theatre artist, People's Artist of the USSR, member-correspondent of the Academy of Art (AX-Akademiya Khudozhestva) (1988).
He designed many musical and dramatic shows in Russia and abroad. Between 1988 and 1995, he was the lead artist at Russia's famed Bolshoi Theatre (Bolshoi Teatr). Levental' was awareded the State Prize of the Russian Federation in 1994.
