[edit] Plot
When the protagonist Derek Washington was just a small child he witnessed his father's murder. Because of this he became very afraid of blood. However, when a sting operation to find counterfeiter Gustoff Slovak goes wrong, he is forced to face his fear. The operation blows up in his face, resulting in a massacre that leaves Derek's team wiped out. Derek reaches the shocking conclusion that Slovak is actually a vampire, and joins forces with Master Kao. Kao is the last in a long line of vampire hunters, and agrees to train Derek in this ancient art. However, in order to defeat Slovak, Derek must become that which he fears most...a vampire.
[edit] Similarities with Blade
Derek Washington not only looks and dresses like Wesley Snipes (the actor who played Blade in three fims), and also uses many of the same weapons from the three Blade movies, including the Glaive. Also like Blade, Washington lost a family member early in life. Blade lost his Mother And Washington his father. Washington was trained by a former Vampire hunter (Master Kao) as was Blade (Abraham Whistler). And finally, they are both vampires them selves.
