Vargotah is a German band formed in 1999. Their musical style fuses elements of Metal and Industrial with those of undetermined Ethnic origins. Vargotah is also known as a Vampire Cult (referred to as "The Cult of Vargotah"). www.vargotah.com - Official Website
Formed by ex-members of The Heroin, the band has left a remarkable impact on the vampiric underground scene since the late 90s[citation needed]. Vargotah's essence focuses on Gothic, Vampire, Occult mystery and Voodoo imagery. Songwriter and vocalist Orkun Ozzduner, also known or referred to as Baron or Vicomte, fuses forcefully driven Industrial, Gothic and Psychedelic influences to develop a unique musical ambience; incandescent, hypnotic and post-modern sonorities, ranging from sombre, propulsive drums to highly emotional phrases through ethnic modalities. Unusually arranged songs, odd segues, poetically-twisted lyrics and a military look comprise the band's trademarks.
