Vaseegara is a Tamil film which released on January 15, 2003 and was directed by K. Selvabharathi. This film has Vijay in the main lead. Sneha played his love interest for the first time. This film was a success and ran for 150 days.

Bhupathy (Vijay) comes to Chennai looking for a job. Viswanathan(Nasser) being a very good friend of his father invites him to his house and he becomes a part of their family. Nasser's daughter Priya (Sneha) who is engaged to another guy, hates Bhupathy initially but after starts to love him. She expresses her love. Even if he loves her, he holds a distance because he doesn't want to let down his father's friendship. Finally, her love is accepted by him and all their family. This is a remake of Telugu hit Nuvva Naaku Nachav[[1]]
