Veľké Kosihy is a village and municipality in the Komarno District in the Nitra Region of south-west Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1268.

The village lies at an altitude of 112 metres and covers an area of 24.403 km². It has a population of about 980 people.

The village is about 86% Magyar, 12% Slovak and 2% Czech.
