Vergennes Union High School

Vergennes Union High School is a high school/junior high school of about 700 students in Vergennes, Vermont. It hosts a wide variety of extra-curricular activities such as lacrosse, soccer, basket ball, baseball, a knitting club, jazz band, golf, German club and the FFA. Some Vergennes students take part in longboat rowing, hosted by the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum. It also produces an annual musical production.
The school's main structural features, outside of containing over 30 classrooms, are a cafeteria, library, auditorium, two gymnasiums, two computer centers, the Senior Circle Lounge and an acoustic music rehearsal chamber.
The school serves the city of Vergennes, as well as the towns of Addison, Vermont, Ferrisburgh, Vermont, Panton, Vermont, and Waltham, Vermont. This group of towns are part of the Addison Northwest Supervisory Union.
