VGS Mail
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
VGS Mail is an extension for Windows Mobile devices that allows IMAP push email. VGS Mail was invented by Dr. Geoffrey Cross, co-founder of Visual Geometry Solutions. VGS Mail works by adding an Push-IMAP transport client to Windows Mobile. The built in Pocket Outlook client is used to send and read email, but VGS manages the always on connection to the mail server in the background.
VGS e-mail formed a joint venture with FireVentures Ltd in February 2007 to enhance functionality and expand the market.
