Vh1 Hip Hop Honors

Vh1 Hip Hop Honors is an annual event that airs on VH1. The first one premiered in October 2004 and featured appearances by several old-school hip-hop singers and groups, such as the Rock Steady Crew, Salt-N-Pepa and the Beastie Boys. Modern-day rap acts also performed, such as Fat Joe and Terror Squad. In October, 2005, VH1 aired a new Hip Hop Honors show, honoring, among others, the Notorious B.I.G. and LL Cool J. A third show aired October 17, 2006.
