Vic Porcelli
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Vic Porcelli has been a popular rock radio host since the mid 1990's in the St. Louis market. He had previously worked at New Jersey radio stations WKER in Pompton Lakes, WDHA in Dover and WWZY in Long Branch before moving to St. Louis to work at WVRV - 101.1 FM The River. He had a long-time midday show called Porcelli's Deli and gained a huge following with games like the Missing Ingredient. Later he transitioned to morning host with cohosts, then back to his midday slot. Bonneville Radio fired him after a format change to WMVN.
Vic filled in for Dave Glover in the 4-7 pm slot on 97.1 FM Talk, while Dave took some time off the week after Christmas 2006.
Vic will now be heard on the Big 550 KTRS weekdays in the 5:30 - 9:00 AM slot with cohost Kathryn Jamboretz from CW11 News.
