Vikingboard is an open-source Internet forum system written in PHP, and primarily using MySQL as the database backend. Vikingboard is still in an early development phase, and as of March 2007 is not considered mature enough for day-to-day use. The primary focus of Vikingboard is large-scale high-performance forums, and thus features an aggressive cache system and an efficient, minimalist design, using CSS and XHTML.
