Welcome to Wikipedia!
Welcome to Wikipedia, ViperSnake151! I'm Celestianpower. I noticed that you were new and/or have yet to receive any messages so I just thought I'd pop in to say "hello". Hello. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it's so big but we won't bite so Be Bold and get what you know down in microchips! If you do make a mistake, that's fine, we'll assume good faith and just correct you: it'll take a few seconds maximum! Here, however, are a few links to get you started:
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
There are lots of policies and guidelines to get to grips with but they all make your life easier and your stay more fun in the long run. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or add {{helpme}} to your userpage - someone will come very, very quickly to your aid. Please be sure to sign your posts on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, along with a link to your user page. This way, others know when you left a message and how to find you. It's easier than having to type out your name, right? ;)
I hope you enjoy contributing to Wikipedia. We can use all the help we can get! Have a great time, all the best, sayonara and good luck! --Celestianpower hab | myRFA 09:15, 26 August 2005 (UTC)
Good luck with the birds by the way! --Celestianpower hab | myRFA 09:15, 26 August 2005 (UTC)
My Response: Thanks for the reminder, but I know how to do that, but thanks anyway!

[edit] TV Logos
I totally agree with the question you posed on AMIB's talk page. I have tried that myself, only to have them deleted. It seems like they are throwing any reason they can think of as to why these shouldn't be up. So far I have gotten, WP:FUC #3 and #8, "Fair-Use", "a legal issue", "unsourced commentary", "not discussed in the article", "no reference", it's "decorative", "meaningful commentary", "reliable source" (though AMIB admits he knows of no place to find a source), "violation of two of Wikipedia's foundations", and "the right thing to do" as reasons given why these logos should not be up...each time, a different reason. Most of these they know people either aren't going to be able to find or just aren't going to look for. Especially for video of a logo from the 60's or something. I am goign through on most of the images AMIB deletes and saving them, so, maybe, they can be readded at a later date. - SVRTVDude 23:00, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- Would be glad to. If we can keep the "non" fair-use images, that would make me happy and would be a good happy medium:) - SVRTVDude 21:14, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

- I don't care that much if you get rid of the logo galleries (I know what's going on with them), but if you do, at least do it without adding smart, witty comments to the edit summary. Ntropolis 21:36, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
