State Route 112 is a primary state highway in Roanoke County, Virginia, United States. Known as Wildwood Road, it connects Interstate 81 at exit 137 with U.S. Route 11/U.S. Route 460 (West Main Street) in Salem. The road is a divided four lane road with a speed limit of 35 miles per hour. While SR 112 is signed east west, its actual direction is closer to north-south; it is perpendicular to the north-south-signed I-81 and US 11.
Interstate 81 generally marks the northern border of the city of Salem. Virginia initially numbered exits sequentially instead of by the closest mile marker; exit 137's earlier designation was exit 37.
Prior to the 1980s, the only businesses along Route 112 between West Main Street and Interstate 81 were a gas station and Bonanza steakhouse. Since then, most parcels have been developed with restaurants, another gas station, hotels, businesses, and a strip mall anchored by Food Lion.
Wildwood Road continues past the western terminus as a winding, two lane road with the secondary route designation of State Route 619. Signs for exit 137 show both SR 112 and SR 619. The road loops around the base of Little Brushy Mountain before branching into Goodwin Avenue and Academy Street, which pass under Interstate 81 around a mile east (signed north) of exit 137.
