I am Vince Buffalo, a political science and economics double major at UC Davis. When not in Davis, I am at home in San Francisco. My academic interests include inter-state war, democracy and democratic theory, applied economics in the field of political science, and game theory. I also enjoy rock climbing, fly fishing and growing, collecting, and looking at tropical plants, especially orchids. I am also an ardent supporter of globalisation and free markets for very liberal reasons; I believe it is the most effective way to end poverty and economic inequality. I love Wikipedia because I love to learn about new topics, and I believe contributing helps both the community and me in understanding a given topic.

[edit] Articles

I've also made a few quick edits here or there. I look forward to becoming well-versed in Wikipedia style so I can make effective stylistic edits without constantly referring to the manual of style.
[edit] Occasional RC and Vandalism Patrol
I occasionally spend a few hours looking through the recent changes page to do my part in cleaning out spam and vandalism. I am new to this process, and I found the WikiProject Spam page and User:Cowman109's page indispensable in learning policy and tags. I highly recommend them.
[edit] Pages I plan to work on
- I hope to create a page about democratic theory, which I hope would consolidate many theories, including those of Anthony Downs.
- The article on gender income disparity in the US needs a great deal of work. I hope to contribute to it when school slows down.
