Vukan Nemanjić
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Vukan II Nemanjić (Serbian: Вукан II Немањић), son of Serbian Grand Župan Stefan Nemanja. Vukan was king of the Zeta (1196-1208) and Grand Župan of Serbia (1202-1204). He had three sons: Đorđe, Stefan, and Dmitri, whose great-granddaughter was Milica, wife of Prince Lazar Hrebaljanović of Serbia. Kostadin, father of Vasoje, the founder of the Vasojević family, was probably the son of Vukan, according to some historian, but was more probably his grandson from his (Vukan's) son, Stefan.
