[edit] Company History
VYRE has been around since 1997. The company was founded in Iceland, and was at that time named Northern Communication and Design (NCD). The CMS system was at that time called DataWeb, and developed in ASP. In 1998, the system was rewritten in Java, and shortly afterwards the company (and the system) was renamed SALT. The company opened offices in New York and London in the year 2000. In 2001, the company (and the system) was renamed again to VYRE.
In 2003, the company was acquired by the London based Offstump Ltd., and has been based in London since. Since then the system has been rewritten and the architecture revised, to support scalable enterprise applications. The latest release is VYRE Unify version 4.3.
