I would like a bot flag to run my interwiki-bot TuvicBot (using Pywikipedia). This bot will run in manually assisted mode, adding and updating interwiki-links, using the Dutch wiki as a starting point. 1. Thanks for asking, Tuvic. As you may have noticed our bot policy is very similar to the English Wikipedia's – that was the source of our translation. Thanks for creating an informative userpage for your bot already. Do you intend to run this bot on a long-term basis? Also, the Vietnamese Wikipedia uses an interwiki ordering scheme different than that of the English Wikipedia: see Trợ giúp:Liên kết giữa ngôn ngữ or m:Interwiki sorting order for the list of codes.    Thanks for moving this request to the right place. Yes, I'm planning to use it on a long-term basis. For the interwiki sorting order, I'm just using the standard Pywikipedia-bot, which should handle the interwiki sorting order correctly. If your wiki ever plans to change the interwiki order, it's best to notify the developers of the pywikipediabot, and they will change it when necessary. --Tuvic 09:20, ngày 4 tháng 7 năm 2006 (UTC)

   There is no need whatsoever to vote on conferring a bot status in this case since it only fixes interwiki links. However, any other bot with a more ambitious goal(s) should let its intention(s) be known by the community. The community, hence, should be able to vote in that case. Hello, I am Thijs! from the Netherlands. I to use the pywikipedia interwiki-bot to create interwiki links taking the Dutch wikipedia and occasionally lists of necessary edits (from the Interwiki Link Checker as a basis. Therefore I would like to request a bot flag at the Vietnamese wikipedia. The bot works on both autonomous and non-autonomous mode. In the former it will only apply unambigious changes, whereas in the latter the bot will ask me for input to handle more difficult cases. My edits can be seen at Special:Contributions/Thijs!bot. Tại vì việc này rất phúc tạp, một số thành viên ở Commons đã phát triển một bot để tự động dời các hình này khi bị xóa, chẳng hạn để cho các bài ở đây không có "liên kết đỏ" đến một hình không còn. Please for bot flag for my bot. It's interwiki bot working on cs:, it does non-controversial automatic interwiki addiction, but his main domain is human assisted problematical interwiki (this operation is working on about 100 languages at same time, but maximal 10 pages per day).

This bot do standard interwiki addiction too, but only in the languages with bot flag.

Bot is based on pywikipedia. Already with bot status (24 languages): cs, eo, sl, pl, de, sr, hr, da, en, el, es, it, sk, sh, vec, ro, no, ... (see here Awaiting for bot: some more languages, e.g. fi, pt, ar, ja...

Hi Jan, since you're just intending to do interwiki links, you can go ahead and run the bot now, while we hold a vote. I just have one issue: your bot seems to be alphabetizing war: (Winaray) under the S's in some cases, [1] but not in others. [2] In addition, it seems to placing pam: (Kapampangan) under the P's, which would be correct, except that we're using Trợ giúp:Liên kết giữa ngôn ngữ or m:Interwiki sorting order as our interwiki link order for the time being.    Đúng vậy khi chạy interwiki theo tiêu bản thì nó sửa đổi thẻ <noinclude> gây nên một sỗ lỗi. Tối qua nó sửa đổi tiêu bản Tiêu bản:! làm cho Tiêu bản:Tóm tắt về robot Wikipedia trong các trang thành viên robot lỗi-->Gây lỗi hiển thị. Nên bây giờ sẽ cấm bot này chạy trên các tiêu bản. Cảm ơn Nguyễn Xuân Minh đã phát hiện và sửa lỗi. Nó đã sửa một số tiêu bản, nếu ai phát hiện lỗi trong các tiêu bản xin sửa lại giùm. Phamanhviet 07:40, 27 tháng 11 2006 (UTC)

I'm an admin user in the basque wikipedia (eu) and I have the bot flag in more than 50 wikipedias.
