W. B. Emery

Walter Bryan Emery (1903 - 1971) was a British Egyptologist. Born and educated in Liverpool, his early field work included excavations at Amarna in 1923. He worked on later excavations at Nubia, Luxor and Thebes, Egypt. At Saqqara he made the significant discovery of a "zoo" of mummified animal remains. He was assisted in his work by his wife, Molly.
